SouthPoint Risk Offices collects school supplies to donate to foster, abused, or neglected children in Middle Tennessee
Approximately 1,732+ backpacks were stuffed with school supplies and distributed this year!
At SouthPoint Risk, we understand the importance of investing in and supporting our local community and are continually seeking out new ways to create a positive impact within our communities.
This summer, the agency partnered with Youth Villages a private nonprofit organization that helps children and families in Middle Tennessee live successfully by offering a continuum of programs that include foster care, adoption, residential group homes, crisis services, transitional living, and in-home counseling.
SouthPoint Risk offices held an in-house school supply drive to help children in our local community get ready for the new school year. Youth Villages staff members were not expecting the mountain of items collected and were beyond grateful for the generosity of the SouthPoint Risk Team. It’s amazing to see what we can accomplish by coming together and giving back to our local communities.
In addition, several SouthPoint Risk team members had a wonderful time volunteering at the distribution day for the Backpack Heroes program. Staff helped distribute and load up backpacks in addition to sorting supplies. This program provides backpacks full of school supplies to foster, abused, or neglected children within Middle Tennessee.
This year approximately 1,732+ backpacks were stuffed and distributed. Great job everyone!
